Chatting
You may be wondering why I would put up a Chatting Tips page. Well, I can tell you that some people don’t know how to chat! Chatting is the web equivalent of talking, and not everyone understands that respect must be shown to the other person behind the screen.
Let’s see some little tips that would improve an online friendship.
1) Be educated and considerate. Chatting with a person online is not talking to a bunch of circuits; the person behind the screen can feel and get sad if you write harsh words or don’t pay attention to what he/she says. It’s important to be kind to people we care about, even though we only know them through a computer screen!
2) Contact him/her first! Sure, it would be good to keep a balance between you and him/her when it comes chat appointments, but what if he/she is sick or busy and can’t contact you? Do a first move.
Maybe he/she doesn’t have the time to chat, but he/she’ll appreciate your care!
3) Exchange little gift over the net. Gifts can be in the form of pixel figures, e-cards, songs recorded by you with your voice, a video greeting for their birthday… They’re all nice and fun ways to show your affection at a distance.
Friendship doesn’t know bounds, you know that, right?
Apply those three tips and your friendship is cherished for good.
A friend is always a treasure, either online and offline. *hugs*
